He breathes heavily, "Bah! Wretched lot of you standing up for some Dornish serving girl?" He spits out blood and, it looks like, a tooth. "Don't a one of you think this'll go without punishment!" He gestures to one of his companions, "Let's go."

The companion gives a slight nod, clearly pained from cuts through his clothing, "As you wish, Lord Baratheon."

During the scuffle, the serving girl has disappeared into the crowds...

Then he saw Lord Desmond enter the conflict and, with a sigh and a shaking head, the strapping young man set aside his drink and waded into the silliness to protect his lord's heir. He didn't even look at Roycelyn, knowing she'd have her dagger drawn but held securely, always watching his back.

...

As the struggle continues, Reynard takes a brutal kick to the knee as one brawler follows it with an attempt to stay him with a broken bottle. Even injured he avoids the drunk's attack, grabbing the man under the arms and hurling him ten feet through the chaos. Catching his breath, Reynard sees Roycelyn, simultaneously concerned and bemused, looking at him with a smile. Her knife is bloody but, he notes with relief, not very. Unsurprisingly, there's no blood on the crafty girl.

It was all very confusing. One moment, Desmond was watching the jugglers, while feeding Walder a few scraps from dinner. Then, all the shouting and fighting began. There was his sister, trying to calm things. And, there was old man Walder, knocking back the brawlers ignoring her. Finally, he saw Tomas, his new friend from yesterday, in the fray. He couldn't just stand aside and watch, even if father would scold him.

With a whistle, Desmond beckoned his Walder to follow him into battle.

He thought he saw Lord Ulrich in the mess for a few moment's but the brawl swept him in another direction as the young man punched, and kicked his way through the mob. He made it through it all eventually, though he was more then a little bruised, and it felt like he might have a couple cracked ribs along his right side.

At the end he looked around for the little girl he had tried to help, but he couldn't seem to find her.

It didn't take much for the big northerner to raise his own fists and get in there.

"Oy you lot! Bollocks to yers!"

It was a pretty solid entrance as Marqus punched the guy Gwen was fighting so hard he spat blood. "Fighting with a wee lass? Yer a right raging bellend." To reinforce the point a boot connected solidly with the man's junk, sending him crashing to the ground.

Next up was a pair of nasty-looking lads who seemed to think they were going to gang up on him. Sidestepping around the biggest one, he ducked down and fired an uppercut into the man's jaw, knocking him clean out. "GET IN!"

His pal didn't like the look of that and tried to find a better target, but before he could clock Kevan when he wasn't looking, Marqus tackled him to the ground and threw a few good swings. "Sneaky fucker."

A knee took him in the side of his head, but Marqus was famed for his thick neck: they sung songs about it, apparently. He took the blow and and grinned evilly through bloody teeth before throwing himself to his feet and taking on his assailant with a series of combination punches that staggered the man back into the crowd.

By the end of the fight he was bruised but happy to have dished out far more damage than he took. "Alright now Gwen, what was all that about?"

These wanna be knights

He shook his head and was ready to leave until he saw the Little Gwen in the middle of everything

''By the Seven...''

He approached the capharnaeum murturing curses between his breaths and hoped against hope that he could calm the situation or at least get the girl out of there.

''Allright, calm down. Lets be reasonnable adults here'' : 5 no points

As two men tried to close in he guessed that his reasonnable approach failed. His eyes got cold and his voice strangely soft despite the snarl

''Go have your dicks mesured elsewhere, fuck off.'' : 11 1 Bear point

Now that seemed to have been understood. Still, some seemed to move to his side, intending to test him. A quick jab in the stomach made the ring leader rethink that idea. 6 1 Bear point

He looked around to see where Gwen was at but she seemed to have runned off somewhere. He took a breath and walked away.

He made it to his 30s because he didn't jump at every chance to join a bar brawl for every wrong that occurred against someone. That's generally how the others got weeded out. Plenty of tales and drinking songs about someone going off the handle and dying in the prime. But then from the crowd, he heard a familiar roll of the tongue.

His eyes glanced over as he saw her, being accosted.

It wasn't that he felt possessive over her; no strong emotions on that end. Just how he could they meet up later tonite at a rendezvous in the off chance she saw him on the sidelines still drinking? It would be embarrassing, to say the least.

Oh well, all good stories and drinking songs usually start off with a guy doing something stupid to impress a girl.. He quickly finished his drink and walked over to the closest man and punched him. He went down hard ((17)). A sucker punch for sure, but a bar brawl was not the time for honorable combat. Twisting around for a second, he takes on another who manages to throw a cross. He blocks up and throws a few jabs at him, then sweeping his legs and making him fall on the ground ((14)).

The third man was some poor sap who decided to see if he could punch up from his own status, by the look of him. Could have been not have cared less, if he were to guess, just wanted to brawl a man in a nice outfit. Take out some aggression. It wasn't the best option of his, but he was willing to partake a lesson in manners to those of noble blood. He swung hard with a right hook, knocking him square in the ground. ((13))

Finally, his target, he was running away from the woman. At least he looked like the guy. He was already somewhat drunk and wasn't able to get a clear look at him.

Didn't really matter, to be honest. This whole fight didn't really matter.

So when he picked him up by the throat and lifted him off the ground, and a warm liquid began to leak down upon the ground, at least he could tell her that the man pissed himself before he head butted him in the face and threw him afterwards on the ground, kicking the guy in the gut to make him move out the way. ((22))

Of course now he smelled like piss and booze and sweat. Perfect

Fighting (Somewhat Begrudgingly) For the Maiden Fair

Wylla Terrick would slowly move over to the quickly escalating situation, as she'd speak to the crowd, her voice grown stern, and her face revealing a bit of anger she probably didn't realize she was displaying herself, as her brow furrowed at the gruff and rough display she'd heard and more importantly heard tale of. Laying a hand in the direction of all the hostility, she'd calm herself, continuing with a softer tone. All this, and she'd merely wished for another walk through the meadows, and a chance to find her companions from the day before...

"Help the girl pick herself up. If this man wishes to further make a fool of himself, I invite him to redirect his anger towards me. Though I doubt you'll find him moving very far. Each of you can understand this situation, can you not? Excitement is high, tension rises in the first days or the tournament, gambling dreams and hopes rise and dash. And the serving girl who has been trained well enough to dart into these crowds just happens to make such a folly? I agree with Lady..." Wylla paused, as the old man behind her would lowly mutter... "Algood. Give this man no free drink, no free channel for that pent up aggression. Give him the boot. When he matures, and decides to act his age, then he can rejoin us in these festivities and merry. There is no reason why we should allow this disruption to ruin our good eve."
