"Father~ Desmond was about to take us to breakfast, do tell me you will join us as well, your company is always so entertaining, especially between you two." Joseth reached a hand out towards his son; it hovered for just a second over his head then shifted to his should. He gave the boy a firm pat, "Excellent. I like knowing I can leave the camp in your capable hands while I hunt." He whistled and one of the men-at-arms came forth with a brace of coneys, "Dinner, I think - Ayla did well this morning on the hunt."

Only a few moments passed between the bird landing and the sound of hooves approaching. The towering man - Lord Terrick, accompanied by a couple men-at-arms - leapt down from the saddle.

A slight grin covered his face, "I see everyone has woken... finally." He walked to the bird, stroking it's head; it let out a sound somewhat reminiscent of a coo.

From above comes the scream of a bird of prey; there is a flash as it drops from the sky then alights on a nearby perch, a small field creature in claw. It screes with delight and begins to join in the breakfast.
