"It's good to see you Derryk. Let's catch up for some sparring later? I'll let Rhill rest up a bit before we go riding again." With a grin he waved and walked off to get settled in camp before another round of sword and board.

"Good to know. Maybe if I can win a joust or two I'll get a chance to bring it up? There's always asking around the Southron houses to see if they're in the market for shields. I mean, it's not like the quantity we'd sell for ships, but it's a start." He shrugged.

He paused, "But... if I were to guess... I don't think Prince Baelor sees a threat from beyond the Narrow Sea. Not like his father does, anyways."

The Flint runs a hand through his hair, "The Stark seems to be certain the fighting will be over before year's end; your father hopes to end this issue before that happens to avoid war with the Whitehills."

"The houses of the North continue to pay well for the Ironwood," he continues, "as always. The Iron Throne, though..."

He pauses for a moment, "The king wants a fleet. I hear Prince Baelor doesn't agree. I think His Grace may remember that the Blackfyre pretenders fled across the sea and hopes to resolve the matter once and for all..."

"Well, other than marrying us off, what else can we offer for support? Did father give you an update on our forces and trade? I mean, there's always Ironwood."
