Additionally, to ease tracking, please follow the following rules when rolling dice:
- Use a single account for rolling; we don't care what the account name is so long as it's one account doing all the rolls for a character.
- Ensure that you include your character's name in the appropriate box while doing rolls. Rolls made without the proper character name will not be counted.
- Ensure that your use "Tourney at Ashford" as the campaign; this eases tracking of all rolls for the GMs. If you neglect to put the campaign in, it will not show up when we search campaign rolls and so will not count.
- In the description box, include a note about why you're rolling and what you're rolling; for example, if you're rolling to attack with a sword, include something like "Attacking the Mountain, Fighting (Sword Specialty)" in the description.
The dice code for A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying Game is rather simple and will very rarely vary from the following formula; for most rolls, Xd6 (where X is the number of test dice) should suffice. In the case of using a specialty, this would be modified to Xd6kY (where X is the number of test dice plus bonus dice and Y is the number of test dice). You can further modify a roll by including positive or negative modifiers.
For example, a character with Annointed rolling a Status/Reputation roll that has Status 4 and Reputation 2 would enter 6d6k4+2 in to the roll box.
Unfortunately, the system has a few permutations which are difficult, at best, to properly reproduce in Orokos (or any automated dice roller, for that matter). Because of this, some qualities may require you to roll a second time and do some manual math to approximate the effects; for example, if you have the Attractive quality, you may have to do a second roll to emulate rerolling a number of 1s up to half your Persuasion rank and then manually add them in to the other, non-rerolled values from the previous roll.
If a situation comes up and you're unsure as to what to do, feel free to ask a GM and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
