The Agony of Victory (Day 4 Early Morning)

Derrick had awoken stiff, the activities of the past few days and his wounds leaving him more then a little sore. Having risen and dressed he put on his sword and dirk and made his way towards the river with a cloth in bucket in hand. There would be no swimming today, but he wanted to clean up at least a little, and the walk would hopefully work the stiffness from his muscles.
