Lady Cassana had been right about one thing, just because they were at a tournament didn't mean Derrick should skip out of any of his practice, so after his evening meal the young man set off running again. He wasn't in the woods proper, but running along the edge of it, armed and armored. Though he only wore his leathers, with his dirk on his side, and a longsword on his back. A small pouch held his sling and a few stones, not that Derrick really intended to use it any of it, but you couldn't be too careful this near dark, and the extra weight just made for better exercise.
