"It will probably be though~" Wylla giggled a bit, as shelean into her palfrey a bit more. "Regardless, I am happy that three different houses can meet and congregate, and have open discussion with so little concern of one another. I'd prefer to work in such a capacity throughout this event."

[Kevan Dunn]

"It's a good time to do other things than war for sure." Kevan smirked, rising slightly in the saddle to adjust his position, then patting Tymagon's head. "I am happy to congregate and learn what others think about issues that concern all of us."

"Well, as much as I can have an opinion like anyone, people tend to pay less attention to the opinions of a bastard," he says with a chuckle. "Usually it only matters if I'm asked and usually I'm not asked."

[Wylla Terrick]

"Ser Davelyn, you might find that I am rather partial to the ideas of bastards. My greatest friend and guard is a Rivers, and my teacher and mentor is a Pyke. All minds have a perspective, and many can perceive far more than I. I believe that too many use their greater status to ignore you, and lose out on such a benefit."

"Well, at least you're a Ser, Ser Davelyn." Kevan remarked on a bitterer note. "It's not like you're held back from doing things a real nobleman should be doing." He added, with a slight snort, mostly at himself.

"Well, to be fair, they're likely not missing out on much unless they want to know about spears or horses," he replies with a hearty laugh to Wylla's comment.

At his comment on being a knight, Davelyn looked to Kevan with a smile. "There is that. But then, that only really means I'm both expendable and a knight, rather than just expendable. No matter how hard I work for what I earn, I'll still always be a bastard to most. Which is fine with me, it's a bit liberating actually, knowing that you are not going to be called on to head a family."

"It's not the fact that I'll be called to head my family that worries me, but that it may happen when I am ill-prepared. My father seems to be thinking he is going to live long years and I wish him that but for all his strategising he really hasn't taken into account that some things regarding myself may turn overdue." Kevan confided, not being as paranoid as his father, and honest in general. He had been called on his lack of spurs during the feast, so there was no point in denying this sad reality.
