"I think I shall rride a little longerr. I was not able to give Perrlerra the exerrcise she desirred this morrning, thanks to the rrain. But I thank you for the offerr."

"As you wish Lady Kaliya. Then..." After making quick work of the sandals he returned to her, taking her hand and politely leading her back to Perlera. "At least let me offer you my hand once again - if only so that I may hold yours a little longer."

[Kaliya Redding]

"Of courrse," her smile didn't waver, but it seemed to become somewhat hollow. She'd been having fun, the easy-going knight's company was playful, but this talk of holding hands had set off alarm bells. Blast these norrtherrnerrs and theirr so-called courrtly love, she thought suspiciously, muddying the waterrs.

When he releases her hand so she can mount up he steps back and, when he has her attention again, gives her a wink. "This was fun. I enjoyed getting you back just then for your grilling earlier. Why, my ears are still singed from it." He grins cheekily and then steps away to clamber up and onto Pearl in a flash.

[Kaliya Redding]

"This has been fun, Tal, thank you. I mean that most sincerrley, I am grrateful to have been able to forrget about the events of this morrning, if only forr a shorrt while."

[Talieas Corbray]

"Any time! Including tonight!" He calls back, lifting his hand to her as he has Pearl begin the journey back. "I'll have some good mead there. Look forward to it!"

Waving at her Tal rides away, a smile on his face.

Feeling decidedly more cheerful than she had before, she returned Tal's wave and put her heels to Perlera's sides. It felt different now, not like she was trying to escape, but for the joy of feeling the wind in her hair and the speed of the mare beneath her. By the time she returned to change for the meeting, she was in much higher spirits.
