Having gorged herself on sweets and faire-food earlier, Gwen had taken her exploration to the tournament grounds. Of course, there was not much to see there now, but she did marvel a bit at seeing what the place looked like when there was nothing going on yet.

With Walder nearby following after her, Gwen pulled herself up on the beam separating the jousting field, and balanced her way across, pretending in her mind that she was doing so infront of a huge audience that were amazed by her daring and skill.

The young knight came to inspect the grounds, a habit ingrained from his squiring days, and see if the schedule was out yet. It was not but information on the lay of the land could help and so he dragged his feet in a bit of a slow shuffle feeling for divots.

The shaggy haired knight caught sight of the small girl parading along the post and gave a lopsided smile. "Oh? Have we a tumbler on display do we?"

"Uh-huh," the girl nodded, but kept her attention focused forward. Since she actually had an audience now, she had to make something of it.

And so with only the reckless gusto a child could have, she swiftly flipped forward in a forward handspring. (Thank the old and new gods that she was a sensible child that dressed more like a boy, rather than wearing a dress)

Holding up her arms triumphantly, she turned her head to look at the knight. "Are you a knight?"

He gave some applause. "Well done!" He gave a tilt of his head, "I am indeed. Ser Ywain Kestrel of the vale. How are you this day?"
