Just a Drink [Day 2, Late Evening]

Sat alone, her dueling blades upstairs safely away for the night, Alessia was without a drink. Glancing around she took a stock of the room. Mostly drunks, and drunks, and more drunks, no one really interesting yet. Patrons that were altogether uninteresting. However the night was not yet over, surely someone interesting might yet join her this evening.

Without a worry, she waited, figuring her looks more than made up for her own lack of purchasing drinks or food.

Lady Cassana came to the tavern and found the woman she was searching for. She walked up to her and crossed her arms. "I knew I would find you here. Where else would you stay, after all?"

Noe that was a much better sight. With a displayed palm she offered Cassana a seat at her table. Smiling up at the woman as she spoke, "It was here or the woods and I'm not so much a wanderer that I'm comfortable out in the woods unless I have to be."

"How do you acquisition money for inns and such?" Cassana asked out of outright curiosity. She appeared to not see reason to be light and indirect with her words.

"Back in Braavos it was from duels with cocky Braavosi who thought that a, woman as beautiful as you choosing to be a swordsman rather than a courtesan is such a shame," she said with a smile. All too happy about those memories.

"As 'you?' Do you not mean 'me?'" Cassana flashed her friend a smile and then looked down at her waist. "Where are your blades?"

"It was what they said to me, but that would apply to you as well Cassana, I am sure, if you were to walk the streets of Braavos with a blade," she said with a light smile.

Patting her waist she she chuckled, "Old habits from my time in Braavos."

"Would it now?" Cassana turned away briefly and then looked back at Alessia with a wry grin. "Do you believe I would look estimable with a sword at my side? Could you imagine it?"

The woman raised her brow. "I would have thought your habit would have been to keep them at your side."

"Hmm, different places," she said, looking to the room just behind Cassana for a moment before glancing to the woman's hip before once again meeting her eyes.

"You want to be a swordsman," she said, reading Cassana'd reaction with a raised brow. Laughing lightly at how easy it was.

The blonde noblewoman blinked and then closed her eyes. A grin spread across her lips and she shook her head. "I suppose I could admit that my foray at the squires' play at fighting was not a random occurrence." Cassana let out a small laugh of her own. "You hit the target as assuredly as I did, Alessia."

"Do you want me to teach you?" she asked with a certain warmth to her smile that was hard to deny. Looking to Cassana for the answer that she might attempt to hide.

"I am unsure if the Braavosi style of fighting would suit me," she stated with a whimsical tone. She gave Alessia a light smile.

That earned a confused look, a raised brow that questioned her for a long second before it softened.

"What other style is there?" she asked, earnestly.

"The Westerosi styles, of course. We had spoken earlier about your skills dazzling the knights of the Seven Kingdoms."

"Does that really appeal to you Cassana?" she asked, tone unsure. "All of that hacking, and slashing.. it is so.."

"I grew up on the knights. It is an Andal tradition as well." Lady Cassana let out a soft sigh. "I enjoy the breeze of riding on horseback.'

Alessia thought on it for a moment before looking to Cassana with a critical eye.

"Not much breeze to enjoy when you're riding about in armor, looking for someone to hack apart with a longsword," she said bluntly but with that same calm, friendly voice. Wishing for a drink right about now, just being honest with herself on that front.

"I think most often it would be with a lance. Impalement, just how it is with Braavosi swords."

Completely went around the point of it, Alessia couldn't help but laugh. A nice, light, warm laugh.

Cassana let out a small laugh of her own, though it was clear she was a bit confused. "I enjoy riding horses, even if I was not often able to in my youth."
