"This is a good idea." Kevan nodded, not pressing the issue. "I assume the lands you speak of are quite picturesque."

"Not so graceful. Imagine an elevated place between swamps and arid lands, and one recognised as a prospective frontline since ancient times and remade to be properly defensive. The Burrow is called that way for a reason." Kevan chuckled, not really complaining.

"We'll need Maiden's guidance here." Kevan rubbed his nose. "I don't even know if my sister Maera could help with this since she's a martially inclined bookie. That's... next level. Though I believe I've seen that on... hmmm." Kevan stopped pointing at that one thing and looked toward the skies.

[Warryn Wydman]

"Oh, you have a sister? Same here. Berena might like these... though she's hard to read sometime." He sighed. "I don't know why I stopped here, but it feels that I cannot leave. I mean.... that's made of metal... with pearls on it? Or something else?" He squinted. "Why would you have a chain made out of gold? I mean... a chain needs to be sturdy."

"Maybe it's what women wear in Essos? It looks heavy though, wouldn't their necks ache after this kind of jewellery?" Kevan brushed his fingers along the aforementioned chain, then proceeded. "I wonder what this contraption is for? If it's armour for... well... why does it have frills instead of metal?"

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn frowned. "Now I'm picturing a woman warrior wearing that to a joust..." he said under a breath. He glanced at the rings. "Wow... those are all pretty big."

"Shouldn't this be more sturdy for that? I mean, all the ups and downs of galloping?" Kevan rubbed his wrist against the opposite arm.

[Warryn Wydman]

"Nah, it was just a whimsy." He replied. "I feel like this all requires a... drawing. Or a guide. Or a Maester, to know how it all...." he gestured vaguely with his hands. "Fits together? I mean.... for the Maiden's blush, if I want to gift something someone, I don't even know what most of this is."

"Maester Oswell is a very knowledgeable man. We should bring him over to explain to us the application of all these. I am sure a lady for whom a gift is meant from among there would appreciate a thoughtful choice." He pointed to the item. "This looks like not fitting all sizes."

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn looked at it. "It doesn't seem to fit any size but a child!" His excalamtion earned a glare from the proprietress. "Hrm... it might be good to bring the Maester along. I don't have any specific plans yet, but darn... I'll need the Crone's wisdom to make sense of these."

"As the future of our houses, I believe it's imperative that we learn about... all kinds of things." He gave the womanly articles a sweeping gesture. "There is no telling when it can come crucially useful."

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn set out a sigh. "The sacrifices we make for the future of our Houses." He looked down. "Nope, I have no idea what any of this is. I think that's a comb?" He gestured to something with teeth.

"It may be. But isn't it too small? What could be possibly combed with it?" Kevan had some ideas but it was unchivalrous to talk about them aloud. "Anyway, we better be going. It's no use to approach this without any expertise."

"Looks like you age well, Ser, for not many marks of your advanced years can be traced on your face." Kevan smirked. "But then, I'd be honoured to benefit from your experiences. I have my own jousting later this afternoon and could take some tips. Maybe over ale, on me?" He pointed to one of the stalls offering it from a freshly opened barrel.
