How to spend an afternoon (Day 3 EA)

Idly browsing the stalls and seeing what was on offer had appealed to him that afternoon. The jousting had been fun to watch, but he felt listless. The ground was wet from the earlier rain, but the sun was out and everything was warming up. He had hoped it might renew his own eneries.

Pausing at one of the vendors selling pins and clasps he noticed the prices were up. A sigh followed. What a surprise, greedy merchants. On principle he put down the cloak pin he'd been admiring and gave the stallkeeper an unhappy look before wandering on.

Wylla Terrick would once again be wandering the stalls. Though she had no intent of procuring much, with the increase of pricing, now would be the time when more exquisite goods would be available. Her attendant was carefully keeping hold of her fingers, to help send a gentle pull or squeeze if she was nearing a troublesome location, the old man constantly scanning the area for possible dangers. Wylla wouldn't pay much mind, even as she passed Ser Talieas, and wouldn't stop, having little use for clips and pins herself.

Finding the odd pair interesting Talieas followed for a few steps, being very obvious about it as was his way. The young woman was certainly a lady and not one he'd yet had the pleasure of speaking to. How to politely say hello? I hope she's not busy.

After some thought the blonde knight does walk over just fast enough to intercept them, but not enough to seem hostile or rude. "Good afternoon. Are you also both out shopping? I'm Ser Talieas Corbray. How do you do?" He bows politely with a flourish.

Gouren's demenor would be quiet, if somewhat protective, until the knight introduced himself. Restraining his baser compulsions, he'd release his charge, as Wylla turned her head off in the knights direction, smiling a bit as she'd bow her head slightly. "Ser Talieas? Well met, I am Wylla, second daughter of our Lord Terrick. We were mostly just spending time, to be perfectly honest. A good walk through vendors can't be disinteresting."

Strange eyes. Are you? Tal wasn't quite sure so he held in his question for the moment. "Lady Wylla? A delight to meet you." He turns to look around at the various vendors and stalls. "There is certainly a lot to take in." Turning his attention swiftly back to her, and her guardian, he smiles at both. "Is there anything in particular you might be looking for? I would be happy to assist."

"Nothing truly of note. When prices rise, the merchants will unveil superior goods to make the most profit, I wished know what new items were now for sale." The woman continued along, following her new guide's voice with an easy step, though Gouren would ably help her through the crowds.

"Hmm. Mostly knick-knacks, but only from what I've seen so far." Tal replies, slowing a little to have another look around and confirm his findings. Yes. Mostly just bits'n'bobs. His attention returns to Wylla as he continues conversation. "How was the journey for you Lady Terrick?"

"It was enjoyable enough. I'm used to travelling quite a bit about the Riverlands, for business and in the service of my house and that of my overlord's. However, I never made my way to this place before."

His smile returns and he crosses his hands behind his head as he walks. "And how are you finding it here so far m'lady?"

"Eventful, to say the least." Wylla smiled a bit brightly as they continued to move, holding her arms delicately in front of her waist as she stopped. "It is a bit exciting though, to find so many new kinds of people. It is why I appreciate the seven kingdoms as I do. Our culture is vast."

"That it is m'lady. May I ask if there are any aspects you especially like?" Tal enquires as they stop.
