Alessia

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Status: Unsworn
Height: 5'9
Build: Slender
Hair Color: Ginger-brown
Eyes: Brown

Description:

An attractive young woman with some more northern features, such as her hair, it is impossible to ignore that the young girl has at least some Westerosi blood. However, from her dress and armament her time in Braavos is quickly noted. From the way she carries herself to the sword at her hip and for the more worldly perhaps even the unique nature of the dagger on the opposite side. Pointy objects that cement the idea that this woman follows few conventions.

Leather armor sets apart an outfit that would largely be common in origin, dressed for the road that she walks on Alessia is far from having the wealth to wear anything that might wear from a few days out on the hard roads of the world. Long, light auburn hair her freckles show off some of her heritage. Giving her just enough slack with the rest of the Westerosi to maneuver through her day.

Hook:

Alessia is a traveler, there is plenty of opportunity for one to have crossed paths with the girl before she became the woman.

Post by Warryn Wydman » Wed Aug 23, 2017 10:10 am

Gender: Male
Age: 19
Status: Heir to House Wydman and Knight
Height: 6'1
Build: Buiilt
Hair Color: Light Auburn
Eyes: Blue

Description:
Though not as massive as his famous grandfather, Warryn is still taller than your average Westerosi. His Andal heritage is visible in his dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Though the second son, he is the current heir to the young House Wydman, he wears his signet ring on his left pinkie. An experienced knight, this isn't his first tourneys. Despite the perilous situation of his House, he doesn't have any visible scars (yet).

Hooks:
- Do you like tourneys? Warryn has jousted at a few tourneys in the Vale, perhaps you met there? He's also looking forward to living up to his grandfather
- Want to gain glory and prove your honor against heathen savages? House Wydman wants you!
- Warryn's a widower, currently no breathing wife. He's a heir. His House (if it survives) has potential wealth. Wink wink.

Desmond Terrick
Image

House: Terrick
Status: Heir
Gender: Male
Age: 10
Height: 4' 8"
Build: Thin
Hair: Light Brown
Eyes: Hazel

Boys often dream of adventure, exploring unknown lands, finding hidden treasures, fighting off nefarious threats and overcoming impossible odds to bring glory to their name, their family and their home. Nearly the youngest of Joseth Terrick's children, Desmond has the same hopes as those other boys. But, he is Heir to House Terrick and all of its holdings and will one day be Lord of Hawkspray. His dreams are weighted with expectations.

To his credit, Desmond does not seem overly burdened by his future, more focused on enjoying the present. When not at his father's side, he most often can be found running about with his faithful companion Walder, a swift dog who matches the boy's thin frame. The young heir is quite skilled in guiding and teaching the canine and their adventures together can easily be considered training as much as play. His martial training is not as advanced, as he is still a growing boy, but Desmond clearly has an interest in arms and combat. They are certainly more appealing than whatever Maester Elwyn tries to show him and he is much more comfortable with bow and arrow than quill and parchment.

Beyond anything else, Desmond loves his family. Her admires his father deeply and hopes to make Joseth proud. He loves his mother and each of his sisters dearly, especially Rowena, and is happy to spend whatever time with them he can and help them with anything they might need. The other members of the Terrick household do not appear to hold as much of his devotion or interest, but he can be found visiting with Erreg the Pale occasionally.

Post by Davelyn Sand » Wed Aug 23, 2017 8:59 pm

Davelyn Sand
House: Kellington
Gender: Male
Status: Sworn to Kellington
Age: 17
Height: 5'11"
Build: Fit
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark Brown

Ser Davelyn Sand is a young man that defies convention. He is clearly a southern Dornishman, bearing the trademark looks of House Martell... especially the more handsome features. Despite that he carries himself as a young knight should. His accent is still thickly Dornish, but it seems to be slowly fading from the past few years living in Cragfort with house Kellington.

He has a strong love for both his companion Qitam and for his spear. He can often be seen practicing with either or both at the same time. Despite his youth he has something of a small reputation for his skill with both horse and spear. Truly a warrior at heart, he always stands ready to fight on behalf of his sworn lord Cedric Kellington. As such, while he wears clothing in the style of Dorne they are always in the colors of his adopted house.

Davelyn's specific parentage was never revealed and he never cared to know it either. Any Martell old enough is an uncle or aunt to him, and any near his age is a cousin, and any young enough is a niece or nephew. They are all his family and that is all he's ever cared about. Coming to the north has revealed to him many differences between Dorne and the rest of Westeros, primarily among them being the status of Bastards. Even those that know nothing of his past look down on him simply for bearing the name Sand.

Post by Allard Terrick » Wed Aug 23, 2017 9:56 pm

Ser Allard Terrick
House: Terrick
Gender: Male
Status: Member of House Terrick/Ward of House Frey
Age: 28
Height: 5'9"/1,76 m
Build: Fit
Hair: Blond/Light Brown
Eyes: Brown
Marital Status: Single

Allard is a second cousin once removed of Lord Joseth Terrick. Son of Ser Ryman Terrick, who died at the Battle of the Redgrass Field during the Blackfyre Rebellion, and Laena Terrick (née Frey), a member of that house.

He grew up as a ward of house Frey at the Twins thanks to his mother influence. Although he does not like all the Freys he admires their ancestor that created the Twins. As such, Allard dreams of doing something similar or even more grandiose, uniting the various houses of the Riverlands into one entity bringing prosperity to that, usually, war-torn land.

He is a competent musician and has received some level of education at the Citadel in Oldtown. He is not the best warrior but he is proficient enough with the sword and the lance. His prefered weapon are the mace and the two handed maul.

Allard is not ugly, but neither he is attractive. He is honorable and charming.

Post by Gwenyth Snow » Wed Aug 23, 2017 10:28 pm

Gwenyth "Gwen" Snow
House: Forrester
Status: Bastard-relative of Lord Eddard Forrester
Age: 8 (nearly 9)
Height: 4'1"
Build: Child
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue

Gwenyth, or Gwen as most call her, was born a bastard, and her blonde hair stands out among the more dark-haired northerners. Her unwed mother, Kiaren Forrester, a cousin of Eddard Forrester and Barthogen Stark, returned home from the southern lands to hide her shame, and joined Lord Eddard in helping him manage the young House Forrester. While she is a bastard, her relations with the Forrester family is good, and Lord Eddard has promised Gwen's mother to look after the girl until she is married.

Though such a marriage might be a challenge as Gwen doesn't really have the mindset to become a lady. She much more prefers riding or hunting than lady-things, and like a true northerner she has some skill at arms despite her young age. Gwen is a quiet child, fiercely loyal and tries to to right.

She travels to the Tourney at Ashford with the company of her hunting dog, Walder, and her pony, Ser Pumpkin.

Post by Maester Oswell » Thu Aug 24, 2017 12:28 am

Gender: Male
Age: 43
Status: Maester of the Citadel
Height: 5'8"
Build: Slender
Hair Color: Prematurely grey
Eyes: Brown

Description:
Oswell is immediately recognisable by the contraption in which he is almost permanently seated. Always fascinated with buildings and tales of Bran the Builder, Oswell was unfortunately crushed in a construction accident when he was a child and lost all movement and sensation below his 12th Thoracic vertebrae. With little other recourse available to him, Oswell continued his voracious appetite for reading although now, following his accident, he also began studying medical and anatomical texts.

After working on a few projects it was an obvious choice to send him to Oldtown and the Citadel to further his learning where he studied the poisons and diseases that plagued society, even going so far as to visit the origin of some such toxins in Lys, Volantis and Tyrosh.

Returning from his ten year stint abroad, he displayed a knowledge thorough enough to earn him the Silver Link to accompany the Steel he had already earned before his departure. He was also informed that he would be sent to House Dunn to serve as their Maester, which he has done for the last 3 years.

Hooks:
- Have you travelled overseas? Oswell would love to chat?
- Do you need to know stuff? I read and I know things!
- Have you a troubling medical condition? Or just wish to avoid the unnecessary complications of pregnancy? Oswell's your man.

Post by Ser Ywain Kestrel » Thu Aug 24, 2017 2:51 am

Gender: Male
Age: 17
Status: Vassal Knight sworn to House Wydman
Height: 5'10"
Build: Athletic
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eyes: Brown

Description: A young knight of the Vale that has only recently earned his knighthood Ywain still has a boyish if not striking face. He has the sort of firm build you would expect of a youth who's daily life involves heavy armour and hilly terrain. His hair is often a mess of wavy tussles made all the worse when he has spent the day in his helm.

Compared to his appearance Ywain's armour and weapons are well tended and even show some ornamentation. The bastard sword he often wears at his hip has a pummel shaped after the head of his house's namesake. He wears a blue-grey tabard with a black pale stripe over his half-plate that matches his shield. Etchings of kestrels both in flight and perched can be seen along the larger plates of his armour. His great helm is capped by a dark grey and brown torse with a mantle of dark grey with specklings of brown and three bright red feathers mounted at its base.

Hooks:
-Ywain spent most of his adolescence as a squire to Ser Kay Waxley, a tourney knight.

Post by Tomas Flowers » Thu Aug 24, 2017 2:57 am

Gender: Male
Age: 11
Status: Bastard
Height: 4'10"
Build: Wiry
Hair Color: Blonde
Eyes: Green

Background: Tomas is the bastard of son of Loras Dunn - head of a cadet branch of House Dunn - and a Florent servant. He's generally happy with his lot in life. Sure, he has the markings of the sickness he had as a child, but he lived. Besides, he can spend most hunting alongside Redbark, his hound. He has good relations with his father and stepmother (who takes a Dornish attitude towards her husband's bastard). He adores his sister, often competing with his hound versus her hawk.

Hooks
Do you like dogs? So does Tomas. He hopes to be a kennel master one day.
Do you like hunting? Tomas is good at that.
Are you a girl around his age? Tomas would be very interested in meeting you. And absolutely terrified.
Are you not disgusted by his disfigurement? Tomas appreciates that.

Post by Kaelyn Dunn » Thu Aug 24, 2017 6:45 am

Kaelyn of House Dunn

Gender: Female
Age: 16
Status: Noble Daughter of Loras and Elyse Dunn
Height: 5'5"
Build: Slender
Hair Color: Black
Eyes: Brown

Background:
Kaelyn, a half-Dornish young woman on her mother's side. She is bound by a strong sense of duty to those she loves, particularly to her younger half-brother Tomas Flowers. She has looked after him all her life and is quite protective. She is not terribly quick to temper, but one sure-fire way to evoke her rage and contempt is to mess with him.

She is attractive by design to help make the best possible marriage match. She knows how short life can be and wishes to live the best one she can. She has a way with animals and can at most times be seen with her Gyrfalcon, Dahlia. While she is well-read, she is likely a bit too trusting of people, much to her Dornish Mother's chagrin. She is a near even split when it comes to "who she takes after," gaining her mother's black hair but her father's pale skin. Her mother's loyalty, and her father's mind for books.

While she is interested in romantic love, it is not something she expects or what drives her. It would come as a pleasant surprise - her Speta was successful in this. She's not terribly devout, but doesn't push aside religion entirely. She's far more shy than aggressive, more truthful than wily.

Hooks:
Kind to her brother? Kaelyn likes you.
Paying attention to Dahlia will earn you a dazzling smile and perhaps a conversation.
Read any good books lately?
Let me introduce you to my own animal companion...

Lady Kaliya Redding

Age: 19
Height: 5'6"
Build: Curvaceous
Hair: Black
Eyes: Very Dark Brown
Status: Widowed

A sultry and passionate young woman of Dorne, Kaliya still speaks with an obvious Rhoynish accent. Born to a lesser noble family from a coastal town near Starfall, Kaliya travelled north with her cousin as a lady-in-waiting. Her cousin’s new husband was not pleased with the match, and was paranoid regarding the independence and inheritance rights of women in Dorne; he sought to separate his new bride from all influences of home as quickly as possible. To this end, he sent away or married off all household that his bride had brought with her, including Kaliya.

Kaliya was only 14 at the time, and her husband was an elderly widower who had served in Lord Dunn's guard until a serious injury ended his service. Not even two years into their marriage, Lord Redding - the younger of two Redding siblings - fell ill. He ailed for 18 months or more before finally passing away, his wife at his side. Her brother-in-law, at his own wife's demand, took in the young widow.

Lady Wylla Terrick
Age: 18
Height: 5'4"
Build: Light, shapely, with a gentle tone of athleticism.
Hair: Black
Eyes: Pale Brown, Blinded
Status: Unmarried and innocent~

Image

Wylla Terrick was born in the spring of AC 191, as the second daughter of Lord Terrick. Her birth was stricken with the curse of blindness, and the girl was fortunate of her upstanding class or she may have lived a rather short and perilous existence. Instead she had all the comforts of nobility to prop her up, and while she was one of her father’s eldest daughters, there was the safety net of sorts. Wylla was never likely to be much more than a useful bargaining tool for connecting the house to another through marriage and child. It was a fate Wylla, as idealistic as she might wish to be, had come to terms with even prior to her Flowering. Due to her own deformity, she wasn’t exposed to many of the most rigorous studies of her siblings, simply due to a lack of application. She was never going to read, and most higher levels of educating oneself required such a skill. She was never going into battle, and never had grown the instincts to properly protect herself, for why would she? Led by the hand and constantly protected by her peers, she was unable to obtain even the most minimal of abilities in keeping herself safe. The only scraping understanding she even held for the art of warefare and her clan's positions would come much later in her adult life. What point would there be in educating one who could not perceive maps, or would have any place in understanding these things? Wylla was a daughter who would serve to create a bridge, nothing more and certainly nothing less. If she could not manage that, she was merely a failure.

And as such, Wylla was continuously schooled in the arena of pleasing. In the ability to make those around her happy. While she might have wanted to be a contrary girl, years of strict guidance left a rather potent mark on her. Whether she liked it or not, her appearance was lovely and her skill in a unique rationale was peerless. She went through much of her young life working on different ways of thinking, of understanding a situation and finding how it could be warped to her advantage. While deception was the obvious tool, it was very close to her instructors that this would never work. Wylla lacked the ability to mimic the facial expressions and body language that a good storyteller must have. Her words could seem pure, but there was a loss of innocence that was apparent to any courtier.

If falsehoods failed her, then the only option was in mastering the truth, which was the core of her actual studies. Complimenting and praising, ignoring deficiencies to raise morale… and through this she became quite the hit at the gatherings she was made to attend, managing to help prop up her father and brother by showering them with talk of their successes and greatest attributes, while casually ignoring any of the faults she found with them. Combined with her natural beauty, she was considered a somewhat delicate but valuable flower as she grew.

This would all come to a head when she was but 16 years of age. A proper woman, who was unmarried and unmarred by the touch of men. An arrangement of her father’s to make her especially attractive to one of the higher houses, granting them an ally in marriage. She was sent as his stand-in to the wedding of two other minor houses within the city of Fairmarket. It was a simple encounter, which was supposed to infuse some nobles of Frey and Mallister with an even stronger bond. However, things went awry when the daughter of Frey was accused of being involved with a man present from Piper. Things escalated quickly as honors were quick to be defended, with naked blades ready to answer any further indignation. Bloodshed which would only spiral further out of control. Wylla, in her own arrogance, more likely than not, would intervene. Much the to chagrin of her assigned bodyguard, Walder Rivers. Wylla inserted herself into the middle of things, and before the eyes of a representative of Tully, she was able to calm those involved enough to discuss a means of compromise. Enough so that well the anger was only somewhat subsided, the proceedings could continue on, at the cost of Frey submitting a small tribute to Mallister for their hidden affairs, while the womanizing young lord of Piper was left somewhat enchanted by the young lady of Terrick.

Finding the situation calm and settled, Wylla’s skills at this craft had impressed their liege in Tully enough for her to be called for. Not for her usual purposes, but to see just how far her negotiations could go. Moving across the riverlands, Wylla would be sent in with a variety of interests for their Overlord. Primarily making financial gains swifter and more profitable by bringing a charming face who could pull people together, Wylla would find herself increasingly well known in her travels. She only stayed long enough to make her impact before returning home, or being shipped off to her next venture, but the revenue for her services as a negotiator combined with her increasing popularity among the suitors of court had whispers of her presence and words floating around even unbeknownst to her. A soft joke, of the Riverside Fairy. She would never tell you a lie, only the truth, in a way you had never considered. With her presence, even bitter rivals could partner for an increased gain, at least for a while.

Walder Rivers
Age: 49
Height: 7'4''
Build: Broad and tough, like an old oak.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Relationship Status: Never married.

Walder Rivers.jpg (157.11 KiB) Viewed 30741 times

Description:
Dressed in a rough old Northern garb, standing at an imposing seven and a half feet, and with deep sorrowful brown eyes staring from underneath a wild mane of deep brown hair, Walder is an intimidating figure who projects an aura of iron resolve. His face is pocketed by small scars and wrinkles, betraying his age quite badly, although the worst of it is hidden by his short, thick beard. He moves with a surprising energy and agility for his age, even though he claims that he's not as spry as he used to be.

His weapons and armor, when he wears them, are well maintained. Depending on the situation, he might walk into battle wielding an old iron Mattock, or a slightly newer, savage looking longaxe, as well as a large and imposing tower shield inscribed with his own latest heraldry alongside that of house Terrick. His worn Brigandine armor also bears the same heraldry, alongside a primitive boar sigil on his right shoulder.

Personality & History:
To those who don't know him, Walder comes across a crass, grim, and weary old warrior. He speaks in either short grunts, or in a low bass voice tinged with melancholy. He betrays very little weakness, his emotional armor almost as good as his real one. But he is gentle to children and animals, one of the few times someone might catch him smiling is when he's telling old fairy tales to young 'uns or petting animals.
He doesn't share much about his past. If one spend enough time with him they might learn that he is in fact a Frey Bastard, and he does not share his enmity toward his parent house. Or that he's spent almost half his life living as a houseless Hedge Knight and mercenary in the north, but little else. He currently serves as the bodyguard to one of Lord Terrick's daughter's, Wylla Terrick.

Kevan Dunn

Post by Kevan Dunn » Thu Aug 24, 2017 8:52 pm

Kevan Dunn
Age: 22
Height: 5'7''
Build: Toned
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Aquamarine
Marital Status: Very Eligible

The first of five children of Thaddeus Dunn, Kevan has the right to inherit, and to be prepared for it. At his age, however, being neither knighted nor wedded indicates his progress toward that preparedness is somewhat lagging. Whether because of his own shortcomings or external factors is a subject of interpretation.

Kevan is a bright lad, good-natured and with a sense of decency and justice, seemingly unembittered by the fact that his fortunes, and those of his House, could be better. If anyone knows a thing about the Lord Commander, his firstborn's good character and open mind can be counted as an achievement in their own right. His poise and gait are those of someone who believes that the world will be at his feet... eventually. While he has received a respectable southron education thanks to the Maester and the Master of Arms of the Barrow, his wit, tastes and sense of humour could use some refinement, and his horsemanship may not yet live up to the prowess of his steed Tymagon. He's learning though, wasting few opportunities to hone himself to head his house one day.

His comeliness carries some avian feel, probably because of a penetrating gaze, an aquiline nose and generally sharp features, very unlike his father's these days. Those are mellowed by a dashing smile and perfectly cut lips that appeal like they've been made for kissing. His general constitution falls somewhere into averages, but his body is still youthfully toned. His everyday clothes tell a story that the sister who cares for him most prefers riding to sewing, and he could certainly use some fashion advice.

Arwyn Forrester is the very image of a graceful lady, easy to mistake for nobility of the southern kingdoms with her impeccable manners and gentle, sweet, and docile demeanor if not for her midnight-dark hair, clear eyes, and features that mark her family as being Starks not so long ago. Her clothing is fine, adorned with carefully-done embroidery of her own, and her hair is uncut since childhood, falling down her back in long braids and dark waves. Her appearance and behavior are carefully curated to give all of these impressions to the outside world, because that's what that world values. A mask created to be what will serve her house best.

The truth is that Arwyn is a stubborn and headstrong girl who grew up admiring stories about martially strong women like those who became knights or the women from Dorne. It was drummed into her head early on, though, that they were a young House and there were eyes on their resources. They couldn't be less than ideal right now. Her devotion and loyalty to her family won out over her personal wants. She worked hard to try and be what her family needed her to be. The mask still slips occasionally, and she'll dig in her heels or butt heads when it might be better not to, but it's increasingly rare. She's even rather good at being a delicate lady, a fact that some deep, hidden part of her mind resents.

She still tries to be kind of the people around her, including the bastards of her house that have accompanied them to the tourney.

Hooks:
-Arwyn is very interested in meeting people of other houses.
-The North is big, but there aren't that many people in it. If you passed through the Wolfswood, we might have met.
-Do you have a dog? She loves them, but doesn't have one of her own.

Derrick
House: Algood
Gender: Male
Status: Retainer of House Algood
Age: 15
Height: 6'0"
Build: Athletic and muscular
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Light brown

In a sea of beautiful young noble women and attractive lords, Derrick definitely doesn't stand out. Neither attractive or ugly, the best way to describe the young man is plain, though that may change a little in the coming years as a recent grow spurt has been adding inches into his height, and in all likelihood it's not over yet. His brown hair and eyes lend one believe he is at least distantly related to the first men, and his tan skin and muscled form show the years he has spent training in weapons.

Some joke the young man is something of a walking armory, though he merely believe in being prepared for all situations, or as many as he can efficiently be prepared for. His common attire is soft leather armor, with a long sword and dirk. Fairly common garb for a guard, but on the occasions he's not on duty he usually wears simple travelers garb, most of which is new, likely because of his recent growth.

Hooks?
-Derrick is a commoner! He might be invisible to you!
- The young man spends a lot of time training, he might spar with you, if you like
- Are you a member of House Algood? Do you need guarding? Let me know!

Cassana Algood
House: Algood
Gender: Female
Status: Sister of Arryk Algood
Age: 16
Height: 5'5"
Build: Athletic
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue

Much like her brother, Cassana is the spitting image of a woman of Andal blood. Her time spent with the Lannisters is readily apparent in her fashion sense which couples well with natural good looks. Her words are laden with honey, soft, and her demeanor with male suitors is reserved, much like a proper lady.

The truly perceptive, however, may notice the callouses on her hands and other discrepancies that ruin her dainty image. Her eyes tend to wander in the presence of attractive noblewomen although she may merely be appraising their apparel.

Ulrich grew up within House Reyne, the better known lower houses of the Lannisters. Having lived and trained there most of his life, he fought alongside many battles of his House to establish themselves as the powerful force they were. Though not as arrogant as the their usually are, Reyes was still no fool to the game and thus earnt the right to be the official eyes and ears of the Lannisters to keep a close watch upon the Algoods as they slowly began to rebuild themselves. Thus Ulrich was chosen to be the eyes and ears of the Head House, and treats the honor with the attention it deserves.

Post by Marqus Forrester » Sat Aug 26, 2017 5:15 am

Marqus Forrester
House: Forrester "Iron From Ice"
Gender: Manly Male
Status: Member of House Forrester, second son of Lord Eddard Forrester
Age: 17 (Young Adult)
Height: 6'1" and maybe a bit to go
Build: Broad shoulders, warrior's physique. Not bulky though, he's pretty lean.
Hair: Blackest black of darkest night, black like coal, or perhaps black like your heart?
Eyes: Bluest blue, like glacial blue. You might see this blue in The Wall.
Religion: The Old Gods (also the best Gods)

Marqus Forrester looks like a Stark, walks tall like a proper Northerner, but tends to act more like he's some sort of Southron Lord. Maybe it's just all that time he's been spending at King's Landing helping his father as part of the delegation working with the Master of Ships. He tends to be pretty genial but has an inner fire that makes him prone to getting into fights (often with his younger brother), and so had a bit of a reputation as an irascible young scamp back home at Ironrath.

Generally Marqus is pretty relaxed about life. As the second son he is unlikely to inherit, and it's spring, so he rather fancies the idea of riding around between Tournaments to gain some glory. Maybe a fair maid or two will catch his eye? After all, while his older brother is married, and his younger one betrothed to seal the alliance with the Glovers, Marqus is somewhat free to choose his own destiny.

Typically he can be found either wearing lighter clothes than most would find comfortable (It's bloody warm down South). Otherwise he's probably training in armour with his sword and trusty Ironwood shield, or riding around the countryside on his favourite horse, a courser named Rhinn.

Hooks
  • Have you ever been to the North? Marqus is happy to talk about his homelands, especially if it gives him a chance to talk about your homeland.
  • Spent much time in King's Landing? Marqus has been there for a while now. He typically hangs out in the training yards sparring with the Southron Knights and their squires.
  • Are you a knight? If so Marqus probably wants to talk about Manly things like honour and so on.
  • Are you an attractive young lady? If so Marqus would definitely like to speak with you about honour and glory, and all the things he's good at.
House Forrester - Young Adult - Enthusiastic - Obvious
Status 3
Equipment: Mail, Ironwood shield, longsword, longbow, quiver w/ 10 arrows.
Accompanied by: Rhinn, a fine Northern courser.

Septon Cyrus
House: Unaffiliated (Great Sept of Baelor)
Gender: Male
Status: Sworn Septon of the Great Sept of Baelor (4)
Age: 19
Height: 5'10"
Build: Lean, Slender
Hair: Missing, Head Shaven, normally black.
Eyes: Grey
Religion: Yes (Faith of the Seven)

Cyrus is still a young man, just out of young adulthood though often bearing the responsibility of one much older. The Faith has been part of his life since a young age, due to his upbringing and the heavy influence of a Septa that played a large part in his education and values during his developing years. While the word is that he was originally a member of one of the noble houses, or at least a vassal, that matters very little at this point. Now a full Septon of the Faith of the Seven, he has shed his house name and is now simply Septon Cyrus, as is the custom. He attends unaffiliated with any specific house to oversee the goings on and potentially provide spiritual guidance where needed.

His face is still slightly boyish, with a strong jaw but otherwise slightly softer features with light brows and cheek bones. His eyes are a pale grey and seem to be constantly observing his surroundings but certainly don't have the stern gaze that are oft associated with knights young and old who have seen battle. His hair, once black, is neatly shaven, as an act of piety and deeper connection to the faith that is likely a carry-over from his younger days when this is more expected of holy brothers of the faith.

His garb is traditional for those of his station, a set of robes not necessarily lavish but elegant and refined in its own way as one would expect of a member of the faith, simple and dark tan in color but of a durable material and well fitted, with a stylized heptagram in the center of the chest. A cloth of slightly darker cloth hangs around his waist with all manner of bauble and trinket of the faith, small pouches for incense, chains, a small loop for scrolls where one could keep hymns of the faith easily accessible as needed. Around his neck even hangs a chain of silver, with an intricate seven-sided design hanging from it with an inset crystal.

Post by Talieas Corbray » Sat Sep 02, 2017 7:32 pm

Talieas Corbray
House: Currently serving the Corbrays
Status: Knight
Age: 18
Height: 6'1"
Build: Sturdy and strong
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Green

Having once been impressed at the Wydmans as they rode to the defence of a merchant caravan he and his knight were traveling with, Talieas kept their valour in mind for the rest of his days as a squire. Upon being knighted he thanked his teacher and then rode home to celebrate with his family. Shortly thereafter he asked their permission to serve the Wydmans to repay their service. With it granted he swiftly rode to Wydman lands and pledged himself to their cause. He has been with them since. From this alone it is not hard to grasp the young man's priorities and attitude to life. He values honour and strives hard, even through his flaws and vices, to be a good knight. Certainly he is a flirt and both unsubtle and transparent in his intentions and agenda, but rarely is he not well-meaning or good-natured. Tal, as he is often called, is obvious in his wish for glory and accomplishment. Fortunately, he is also a capable fighter and an excellent horseman. What he lacks as a commander or tactician he makes up for with loyalty to his fellows and the uplifting comraderie he provides.

As far as looks are concerned, Tal is tall, broad-shouldered young man that most might consider handsome. It definitely helps that he is quite fastidious about his appearance; he shaves and washes regularly, his clothes are kept clean and his armour and weapons are polished daily. What would be the point of saving a fair maiden or confronting an evil brigand if he was shabby looking and dirty? It would only mar his reputation, not strengthen it! Deep green eyes and a friendly, warm smile complete him well, as does an appreciation for fashion leading to reasonably stylish ensembles. However, Tal is neither a fashion-setter nor a social butterfly. His talents here are more natural and developed through an appreciation of others. Ever cheerful and easy going, Tal calls things like he sees them. This has won him friends and, sometimes, earned him some enmity. Like with most things he takes each in his stride.

In regards to hobbies and interests, Tal practices regularly on horse and on foot. Even more than riding he simply likes horses; from a young age he spent a great deal of time in and around the stables and at the tiltyard. His prized possession is his destrier Pearl, a very large white mare with a seemingly gentle personality who becomes fierce and competitive in combat. Rightfully proud of her, having raised her from birth, Tal also has a rowdy courser that he also takes good care of. Sammy, the chestnut courser with an attitude, has been relegated to more menial duties yet each horse is personally seen to by Talieas except in rare circumstances where he has other engagements. Even then he will visit them after to check they are each well. Aside from this Tal enjoys the odd book, as elusive as they often are, drinking and spending time with friends, as well as fishing. The last has helped him become very patient... perhaps because he is not altogether very good at it.
Status 3 * Adult * Knight * Wydman Supporter * Andal blood * Easy going
Carries: Longsword, knife, apples and some silver.
Equine friends: Pearl, a very large destrier, and Sammy, a rounsey
Wears: Tunics, but breastplate or half plate when permitted.
