"I'm going to meet with your Maester later, to speak of what I learned from Alessia. With what you've said, it's too bad you won't be there for that," she replied with a flicker of a smile. The subject was too serious for more. Switching to another subject, though she says. "Plans, though... Kevan, how high to you think House Dunn can reach?"

[Kevan Dunn]

"I spoke to him already. Whatever you establish will trickle back to me this way or another, so I am not worried. To determine the truth of it is in a broad interest... unless Dorne was involved and her sympathisers will try to sweep it under the rug. But I count on your clever mind." He responded with a similarly small stopover smile, but he kept her body in close embrace, taking comfort and motivation in feeling her curves. Those two factors were shifting gears in his brain to a more cogent, thoughtful mode. So the next question didn't come to him as a surprise; he had already attuned to the way her thoughts travelled. "Let me respond cautiously, Arwyn; higher than under my father's leadership. How much higher depends on many factors outside of my control but I do make an effort to extend that control, primarily by building my own position and reputation. But in all honesty, my love, would you think I'd be so enamoured with the real you if I were not an ambitious man myself, seeking greatness in the time that's been given to me?"

[Arwyn Forrester]

She smiles a little. "Not wholly outside of control." She leaned up to his ear, shifting gears back toward exciting him a bit as she nibbles at the lobe a bit before breathing the extent of her ambitions against his skin.

[Kevan Dunn]

He pressed his lips together before he released a heavier breath, his body convulsing slightly at the sensation, a wave that travelled over to her body across the layers as he pulled her even closer to himself by a firm grip of her rear. He leaned in slightly to get his lips into the proximity of her ear and brushed it with gentle, albeit a bit restless caress. "I think the more I grip the more I am held, beautiful, but damn if I mind. If you want to control me, I am yours to control, but I won't hold back in seizing you whole. I am yours and you are mine."

[Arwyn Forrester]

"Then let's find a good time and place for you to do just that," she murmurs, shivering under his touch. "Perhaps later this evening?"

[Kevan Dunn]

"My pavilion, before midnight." He replied almost immediately, his eyes kindling their flickers. This was probably the only way to make him release her from his grip, so hungry was he for contact with her, for being close. "We'll have a chance to conduct some negotiations."

[Arwyn Forrester]

She looked up into his flickering eyes, pulling at her lower lip lightly. She'd be anticipating this the rest of the day. "There's a lot to discuss. They might become intense."

[Kevan Dunn]

"Engrossing and vivid, this is what I'd expect between such unrelenting negotiators like us." He read her lip-pulling as a call for a kiss, and a passionate one soon followed, a sweet breath-stealer.

[Arwyn Forrester]

She wanted to reply, but as intended, the kiss stole her breath away, leaving her a little weak in the knees and leaning into him, simply murmuring, "Gods..."

[Kevan Dunn]

"We'll need the Gods for some things, but for the others I think just you and me might be enough." Spotting her shakiness he scooped her off the ground and held firmly in his safe embrace, kissing with variegating passion as he moved toward their horses. "But I won't mind if you'll be calling them when we'll be spending time together. It'd mean I'd be succeeding in getting you to the pinnacle of the world from where they could actually hear you."

She laughed at that, happy to kiss him back until they reach her horse, mounting up once they do with one last kiss. "Looks like you don't have to work that hard to make me do so."

[Kevan Dunn]

"I will work the hardest to get you the highest. I think in a bond like ours there is little to no point in being a slacker." He shad started with kissing her hand and he would end that way, once he had helped her into the saddle. "I'll see you tonight, Arwyn." To make the decision to part easier for them both he patted the horse to ride away, looking after his beloved longingly, but also with relief that they had managed to move past his troubling nocturnal incident.

Arwyn looks back over her shoulder, waving with a smile behind her before riding off to her day.
