Warryn finally found it. The castle seemed simple, but it was still difficult to find the steward's office.

"Hello good sir. I'd like to challenge Ser Andrew Ashford on the morrow for a joust." He said with a smile.

OOC:
D1 EA Challenging Leo Tyrell, Status, Heir, +2 from BoA daily: 3d6+3 13

Description says Leo Tyrell, cause I am not awake. Should I reroll?

Alongside Warryn the knight Talieas issued his own challenge. "Hello, hello Sir. With Ser Warryn challenging Andrew then I would like to test my lance against the champion Ser Robert. What time would be good aye?" Tal smiled wide as well and waited for the steward's response.

OOC: Challenging Ser Robert Ashford - Status test: 11

(D'oh, thought you were challenging Leo so I put in Andrew :( Robert instead please!)

Lady Cassana approached the Steward in the same apparel she had worn at the earlier toast. She gave an elegant curtsy to the man and flashed the other two men a smile. "I come to represent a mystery knight for tomorrow's joust. He will bear no heraldry to signify allegiance to any House nor to his identity."

Tal smiled brightly at the pretty woman who was clearly nobleborn. "A mystery knight eh? With a fine lady willing to act as his herald? Now that's exciting." He rose and offered a gentlemanly bow with a flourish of his right hand. "Ser Talieas Corbray at your service m'lady."

The introduction was returned with a flourish of her own. "Cassana Algood, sister of Lord Algood of Redwall." She then glanced at the steward and then back to the knight whom had greeted her. "That is correct." She muffled a giggle with a hand on her lips. "I suppose there is a certain excitement to it."

"Aha~ I sense a good story behind this. Perhaps you could regale us with it eh? A fine yet unknown knight winning a stunning woman's favour through some dashing deed and then requesting a favour of her so that he might continue to prove his worth?" Talieas grinned again. "If you have a moment of course."

Cassana blinked and took a moment to glance away. When she finally recollected herself, she smiled once more at Taileas. "I believe informing you of any stories may ruin the glamour. There is a certain appeal to being completely shrouded in mystery."

That earned a chuckle and a firm nod. "Hahaha! So be it. I shall look out for your man in the tournie grounds then m'lady."

Turning back to the steward he made an inquisitive noise. "When might we hear final decisions good ser?"

Warryn smiled at Tal being Tal.

He stepped forward. "Already making friends, are we?" He bowed to the blonde. "Ser Warryn Wydman, heir to Old Peake."

He indicated towards his friend. "Tal is a good knight... lacking in mystery though. What you see is what he is."

"I am Cassana Algood, sister of Lord Algood of Redwall," she repeated for Warryn's benefit, whether he needed it or not. She returned his bow with a curtsy as she had done for Talieas.

"Does that mean you are much more shrouded in mystery, Ser Warryn?" she inquired with a wry smile.

"Oh? Me answering that would be cheating." He patted Tal on the back. "He is the talker out of the pair of us."

"Aye, sure is." Tal would have chimed in, smiling agreeably at Warryn's comments. He listened as Cassana chatted with his fellow knight. Turning around he relaxedly set his arms behind his back and widened his stance to show his attention.

Tal grins as he is patted on the back. "Oh aye, I'm that too. One day I might even master the knack of getting folk to listen." He laughs gently before flashing a big grin. "I doubt you have much trouble with that Lady Algood, eh?"

"I am well-versed in persuasive talk," she admitted plainly, "That is a lady's best weapon, is it or not? A man's tools of trade are the lance and sword."

"Oh aye." He crosses his arms and laughs. "We're simple creatures. It's absolutely the harder job to persuade us away from or out of trouble."

"Perhaps Lady Algood could give a few lessons to dear Tal here? He might even be to explain away all the troubles we bring home." He smiled as he passed an arm around Tal's shoulder. "You'd be doing us a favor."

Tal claps his friend's shoulder and grins. "You'd have all my attention Lady Algood."

"Do you two honestly stir that much trouble?" she said, a bit taken back. Cassana then let out a sigh and smiled at both of them. "I am unsure of where I would begin any such lessons."

"Ah, so you do have a few ideas and you're not necessarily opposed." Tal points out, actually picking up on her choice of words. His smile lessens and he does his best to look serious. "If I could do you a favour in return, like this knight friend of yours, then I would. I was a mischief maker as a boy and only now do I know better. Alas, I no longer have a tutor and back in the Vale we're too busy fighting bandits and mountain men for such things."

"We exaggerate a fair bit. I was told fair maidens like that. Clearly, we need to be educated." Said Warryn solemnly, before a small smile escaped his lips.

"I am not opposed in the least," she said with a fair smile. Cassana's expression turned to amused as she listened more to both of the knight's antics. "Do your playful words ever run you afoul?" she asked lightly.

He lifts a hand as if making an important point. "All the time, but a smile or a strong jaw see to the rest!" Rubbing his chin he then laughs cheerfully.

Warryn let out a small laugh. "Aye, sometimes you have to take a hit to get a hint." He smiled easily. "I am sure Lady Algood can understand Tal's need for an education."

Warryn raised his hands. "I just try and fail to be his helper. I'm innocent in all of this." His face screamed 'liar'.

"Well, innocent in some ways." Tal counters, giving Warryn a highly amused look. His gaze returns to Cassana. "When would suit you m'lady?"
