Morning Duties (Early Morning, Day One)

[Walder Rivers]

Walder shook his head. "My time in the north was nothing special." He paused shortly before speaking again. "Though the land does have a sort of desolate beauty to it. I do recommend you see it some day. Maybe during summer though." He gave a small smile.

[Allard Terrick]

Allard nods. '' Ha! One day, one day...'' He said to himself. '' This is a big and beautiful world and one day I plan to visit all of it. ''

*sighs*

'' Growing up with stories about the Wolfswood, or the Wall, certainly influenced my childhood.'' He chuckled a bit.

[Wylla Terrick]

"It'll take quite a while for all that, you'd better start soon. For myself, I'm content to simply enjoy my home, so long as I can help my family grow." Wylla would smile at Allard, while holding a hand out aimlessly in Desmond's direction. "Why don't we fetch something for breakfast? I've grown hungry, and you need to eat well to grow."

[Walder Rivers]

Walder smiles. "Ah the wall... I've only ever seen it from a distance. But it really is breathtaking even from leagues away."

[Desmond Terrick]

"Yes, sister." his hand took hers. Looking over to Walder, he asked, "Is the wall really that big?"

[Walder Rivers]

He smiled. "Yes lad, it really is. Words do not do it justice."

[Wylla Terrick]

Wylla smiled as she felt her hand taken, leaving it to Desmond to guide her, and only moving once she felt his pull. "It is one of the grandest structures we possess."

[Allard Terrick]

'' Well, I have seen the Hightower of Oldtown. It's quite impressive, and beyond the Narrow Sea there are also many other wonders like the Long Bridge of Volantis, Titan of Braavos and many ruins like Old Ghis or Chroyane in the Rhoyne river.'' He told to Desmond. '' If you are interested, my Lord, I recommend that you read about the life and voyages of Lord Corlys Velaryon. '' He adds

[Desmond Terrick]

"More reading..." Desmond led the group towards breakfast. "I'll think about it, but I'd rather see such things myself."

[House Terrick]

From above comes the scream of a bird of prey; there is a flash as it drops from the sky then alights on a nearby perch, a small field creature in claw. It screes with delight and begins to join in the breakfast.

[Desmond Terrick]

The raptor immediately drew the boy's attention. Desmond watched it closely, checking to see if he recognized it.

[House Terrick]

Only a few moments passed between the bird landing and the sound of hooves approaching. The towering man - Lord Terrick, accompanied by a couple men-at-arms - leapt down from the saddle.

A slight grin covered his face, "I see everyone has woken... finally." He walked to the bird, stroking it's head; it let out a sound somewhat reminiscent of a coo.

[Walder Rivers]

Walder bowed deeply as Lord Terrick arrived. "M'lord."

[Desmond Terrick]

"Father." The boy smiled broadly. He stood up straight and nodded. "Everything is secure here."

[House Terrick]

Joseth reached a hand out towards his son; it hovered for just a second over his head then shifted to his should. He gave the boy a firm pat, "Excellent. I like knowing I can leave the camp in your capable hands while I hunt." He whistled and one of the men-at-arms came forth with a brace of coneys, "Dinner, I think - Ayla did well this morning on the hunt."

[Desmond Terrick]

"I hope you left some out there for Walder and me." Desmond said.

[Allard Terrick]

'' My Lord '' Allard also bowed deeply and respectfully to his liege. '' The hunting grounds around here seem to be productive. Perhaps I should try one day '' He commented.

[Rahvin]

"Aye, lots of game. The forests are teeming everywhere you look."

The man pauses, "And the locals, apparently, keep telling stories of some sort of white stag. A fairy tale, no doubt - but even fairy tales have some bit of truth in them. Oh, but wouldn't that be a thing to catch."

[Desmond Terrick]

The young heir looked down at his dog. "I bet we can find it."

[Wylla Terrick]

Wylla smiled, keeping a gentle hold of her younger brother's hand as her father arrived, facing him, and bowing her head a bit. "Father~ Desmond was about to take us to breakfast, do tell me you will join us as well, your company is always so entertaining, especially between you two." The woman smirked a bit, her head bobbing down to Desmond.
