She glances over at Marqus with a slight smile. "I'm sure we have someone with tactical acumen whose arm we wouldn't have to twist too much to agree. Our forces should be back from their engagements soon, but I wouldn't want to give anything too firm with regard to that. Sometimes war can get drawn out unexpectedly."

[Marqus Forrester]

Marqus spread his hands and smiled politely. "I have that training yes. And this fortress and these lands of yours sound well worth a visit, in good company too." He nodded at the Knights.

"Perhaps you have a member of your house who'd be interested in visiting Ironrath to help talk some sense into our neighbours?" He was keen of course, but the point was for it to be mutually beneficial.

[Warryn Wydman]

"Perhaps... we appreciate your offer, but we cannot make such a decision rashly. Such people would be of course important to our family too." Parents usually were. He glanced to his friends, making sure that his compatriots agree or disagree.

[Talieas Corbray]

It was sound enough. Furthermore, if it was possible - and if the Lord Wydman agreed - there it would be an excellent foundation of relations between both Houses.

To show his approval Tal tapped the table gently twice. "Should Lord Wydman approve then I see only positive developments ahead."

[Ser Ywain Kestrel]

"More the merrier on patrol I say. I am sure we can find someone happy to trade a little while negotiating in the North for some good Northern swordarms to aide us. And next time those Whitehill sods start talking boldly you can bring up some stories of acting boldly to quiet them down."

[Marqus Forrester]

Marqus looked pleased and how all of this was going. "Indeed Ser Talieas, and you'll find no finer shields to complement your swords than the Ironwood shields of Ironrath Ser Ywain."

He looked at Arwyn to gauge her opinion, although his sister had been far harder to read of late.

[Arwyn Forrester]

She nods in agreement with Warryn, smiling a little. She was hard to read, though Marqus knew her well enough to tell wheels were turning in her head. "I agree with Ser Warryn, regarding not making decisions too rashly. We should take time to consult with our own family about what they're willing to do. I don't foresee too many issues on our end, but I can't claim to know every force at play." She smiles warmly. "Consider it laying out possibilities for now. I truly hope we'll find a good way to support one another, though."

[Warryn Wydman]

"Aye,that would be welcome... especially your presence, Marqus. You acquitted well yourself today." He gave a nod to the Forrester brother.

"There seems to be everyone from every corner of the Seven Kingdoms here though... it is good to see so many of our country men."

[Talieas Corbray]

Nodding in gentlemanly agreement the blonde haired knight smiles and stays quiet.

Arwyn, realizing it might be better to leave them to talk about the current subjects, lets herself fade into the background a little bit. She does smile softly and nod at the last sentence, but she recognizes that she's probably already been a little overzealous in taking the lead, at least for present company.

[Marqus Forrester]

"Thank you Ser Warryn. Aye, will, the Steward certainly reminded me to be on the lookout for surprises..." He smiled, referencing the thrown rocks that he was fairly sure we're not part of any joust he'd heard of before.

"It's certainly a diverse group. I met a Dornish Knight yesterday, and was sparring with a Knight from the Westerlands this morning."

[Talieas Corbray]

"... A Dornish knight?" Tal asks, leaning forward and very much looking as if he were checking his hearing. A Dornish knight was akin to saying a Northern seller of camels.

[Marqus Forrester]

Marqus smiled at the reaction. "That's right. Ser Davelyn Sand, as I recall. He was talking about his exeriences in Dorne, and uses a spear as his primary weapon. Seems an interesting sort."

"A spear eh? Intriguing." Tal smiles wide, his eyes shining. "I hope to meet him at some point."
