While Davelyn had the clear advantage, it was also clear that he moved with skill that was a bit more advanced for his age. He likely has spent nearly all his time practicing compared to an heir who had other things to worry about. "Thank you for the match Ser."

With the arrival of Walder, Davelyn offers a greeting to him as well. "You following me Walder?" he asks with a chuckle.

The lute player gets a wave and nod off thanks.

[Walder Rivers]

Walder shakes his head. "Nae lad. Just happenstance."

[Davelyn Sand]

"To be honest, though," he directs at Warren. You're likely better with a sword than I am. I've put a lot of focus on my spear skills. Always have," he says to the lord. And from their relative skills shown, it's likely not just blowing smoke.

[Warryn Wydman]

"Aye, I noticed." He rolled his shoulders. "It seems fighting against unskilled mountain men has left me off worse for wear. Hopefully I'll be able to pull myself up." He smiled at the pair.

"Friends I take it then?"

[Walder Rivers]

"Acquaintances." Walder corrects the young lord. "I met Ser Davelyn earlier today."

[Davelyn Sand]

"Well, anytime you're up for it, I'd be glad to spar with you if you prefer an opponent more skilled than lawless types," Davelyn offers.

"We only just met out in the meadows." Davelyn turned to Walder. "He is guard to Lady Wylla of Terrick."

[Alessia]

Alessia spoke to herself, a soft voice under her breath, only Kaelyn close enough to hear her, "I knew coming here was the right call," she said and then slid back down from her post after the bout had ended. There was a certain spring that the match put into her step that was hard to hide, accompanied with a smile.

[Kaelyn Dunn]

Kaelyn toyed with her hair a moment. The sparring seemed to be over for the moment and now was the time she should be introducing herself. She heard Alessia's comment as she came down from her perch and watched as she walked. Whatever the cause, she was glad the girl seemed pleased. She may have given it more thought if her attention wasn't entirely focused on how to approach a group of men un-escorted. Ladies did not normally do that sort of thing.

Gliding to the entrance and moving in, she stilled the butterflies in her stomach.

A curtsy. “Gentlemen, that was impressive. And the first sparring I’ve seen set to music. I hope you don't mind that I was watching.”

"A guard to a lady? An honorable profession, Ser Rivers." He gave a nod to the massive man.

He eyed the approaching lady, sparing a brief glance to the other one. He gave a bow to the new arrival. "The honor is ours to entertain you melady." With a flourish, he bowed to the musician. "And thank our artistic friend, most of all. IT would have been half as fun without him."

Finally, he turned back to her. "Ser Warryn Wydman, heir to Old Peake." He gestured towards his sparring partner. "Ser Davelyn Sand, master of the spear." His next wave was to Walder. "Ser Walder Rivers, protector of innocence."

[Kaelyn Dunn]

The levity in Lord Wydman's voice came as a boon. If they were relaxed, they may not notice if she made a small blunder or two in her manners.

"From the Vale all the way to Dorne? I have visited both Dorne and the Riverlands on more than one occasion. The Vale I have yet to experience for myself. But I have read it boasts some great Knights. I am Lady Kaelyn of House Dunn. It's an honor to meet you all."

[Davelyn Sand]

"A pleasure milady. I met one of your kin not too long ago, Lord Kevan. It's a pleasure to meet another of your house," Davelyn replies with a bow and a smile.

[Walder Rivers]

Protector of Innocence Walder furrowed his brow, but shook it off. He bowed to the new arrival. "M'lady, pleasure to meet you."

Kaelyn smiled at Davelyn. "I trust he left a good impression for you to be so kind with me. My mother will be quite envious when I tell her a Dornishman competed at the Tourney. She misses home more often than she lets on."

Turning her head, "Ser Walder, is your charge also from the Riverlands?"

[Davelyn Sand]

"The lands north of Done definitely take some getting used to for us used to southern climates. Especially in the stormlands. I don't see the sun nearly as often as I used to," he replies with a chuckle. "But I can see it in you."

[Walder Rivers]

Walder nodded. "Yes m'lady. Yes she is, as she is a scion of House Terrick."

[Kaelyn Dunn]

She thoroughly hated how easily she would come to blush, but this time she had a feeling she'd be blushing regardless. Tilting her head in thanks, "You are very generous with your praise, Ser Davelyn. And I hope to have the opportunity to meet Lady Terrick. She must be very fine to inspire such loyalty."

Dahlia adjusted her perch on Kaelyn's arm, forcing an extra smile. "Tell me, do any of you plan to do any hunting while you're here?"

[Walder Rivers]

"Most likely. The young lord terrick, my charge's brothe and the heir of the house is quite fond of it so I accompany him on some of his hunts." Walder answered.

[Davelyn Sand]

"I've personally never been one for hunting," he admits. "The time others spent hunting was time I spent practicing riding and with the spear. Not that I'd be averse to it, I simply have never been motivated towards it myself. Though I hear hunting boar with spear can be quite exciting and wouldn't mind giving that a try someday."

[Warryn Wydman]

"I am not an expert hunter by any stretch, though there is certainly an entertainment in it." He smiled as he talked. "This area does seem to provide opportunities for such, it would be a regret not to take part."

[Allard Terrick]

He gave a bow to the musician as well. "Thank you for the accompaniment."

Allard offered a bow to the audience after finishing that last song. '' It felt fitting to add some music to your martial show. You both have very good skills for your age. It was an honor to witness your bout. '' He said.

'' Ser Allard Terrick '' He presented himself to the group.

"A pleasure ser. I'm glad to have been able to help Ser Wydman to provide the fighting accompaniment to your music," Davelyn says with a smile.

[Kaelyn Dunn]

"A Knight? I had judged you for a minstrel due to your talent with the lute, Ser Allard. Have you played long?"

Kaelyn began to hope she wasn't boring the now 4 gentlemen around her. Each was a warrior and she had very little knowledge when it came to that skill. She'd always been taught ladies should not take part in such activities, save to watch and cheer. Hunting was her sole pushed limit in this regard and that's not to say she was any good. Her brother Tomas and her Gyrfalcon carried most of the weight. Still, she thought to ask about arranging a hunting party with these fine men; under the watchful eye of her brother, naturally. Perhaps after one of the Tourneys...

A bit of dread suddenly settled over her. This was a Tourney after all. 'Will any of these men before me be hurt?'

[Allard Terrick]

Allard bowed to the Kaelyn. '' Music is my real passion and I had always tried to improve my skills during my free time. I have been practicing for some years now. But there's still space for improvement. I'm glad you liked it, milady'' He offered a smile.

Then he turn to speak to Davelyn. '' You have great skills with the spear, Ser. Not a very common choice of weapon, and not an easy weapon to handle in one on one combat. '' He praised the young man.

"Dornish tradition," he says with a nod to Allard.

[Allard Terrick]

'' Aye. I suppose that Dornish traditions with the spear and lighter armor probably were influenced by the southern climate. Being in heavy armor and using heavy weapons in the middle of the desert would not be a good choice.'' He chuckles.

'' In any case I was taught how to use the mace and maul, although I'm not a master of it. And I do prefer to use this instead of a weapon '' He showed his lute.
