[M D1] The Princes Arrive

With a sullen look, the girl did a stiff curtsy.

"You too melady." Warryn tried smiling. "You're a curious one, aren't you?"

He sighed. "Some dangers, but not too bad. Better than what we usually face, actually."

There was the much needed call for ceremony, the greet and the wave to the heads of House, and two sets of two Princes. He had seen them in passing during these events over the years, but never any formal greeting.

A good means to be seen by everyone, if anything.

Still, it was not a terrible morning to be out among the people.

Warryn frowned. "The mountain men can be a nuisance.." he hesitated. "But I would rather not bore the ladies with such talk on such an ccasion. All is well in the Forrester lands, I hope?"

"Ha ha... I'm afraid that might be equally boring," she admits, looking a bit embarrassed. "A bit of a land dispute. Otherwise things are well... the family is fairly set and the ironwood groves are healthy."

The child wondered how she could contribute to the conversation, to help Arwyn, as she knew they were supposed to be friendly with the other houses here.

Tomas was there in his best. He was amazed at seeing the princes in real life. One day, he'll tell his children he saw King Baelor when he was still a prince.

"One hopes Milady, i would like to see a lot of different styles while im here. Perhaps see what i can learn."

Gwen had clearly been thinking over what he said, as the conversation was carried by the older ones.

she looked at Warryn, then Arwyn. she continued, a bit more firmly.

She looks down at Gwen and smiles. She'd honestly been leaving it for the young girl to notice. "That's true, Gwen," she agrees. "That might not be the most pertinent difference, then. I think the mountain clans might be to them more like the wildlings are to us, and they don't have a wall between them."

Awkward.

"Something like that I am sure. Lawless types, and dishonorable ones." He smiled, though it was a bit tense.

"I meant no offence at all." He wasn't sweating exactly.

Wylla wouldn't really pay much mind to the procession, even if she was effectively forced to be present. She remained behind the crowd, her eyes closed, as she listened to the goings on. Her attendant, an elderly little man would rattle on about a variety of things which were happening, making certain she gained some insight into what was going on, even if the woman didn't appear very interested...

With the Princes way ahead of him, the Cafferen rider made his arrival almost without sound as head were turned and rumormongers busy amongst themselves.

Soon a Great Owl perched itself on one of the building, both it and it's master watching the joyful puppy running ahead of them.

"Quite the menagerie you've brought here with you, Ser. No steed though?"
