The pavilion tent was well-appointed, most of the space given to a bed and dressing area behind a curtain. To one side was a table with two chairs, and to the other piles of cushions provided a place to lounge in comfort. The floor was laid with woven mats and rugs over that, and there was a firepit that crackled with flame.
Over the fire, Kaliya had prepared a water bath to mull the wine; she'd already selected the spices and herbs she intended to use, all she needed now was the wine and her guest. Two lanterns provided illumination, they had been turned down low, and their orange glow brought to mind the desert sunset, it seemed fitting.
She had already changed out of the alluring, but dirtied dress she had worn during the day, and was now wearing a full-length silk bedrobe over something white with a hem that brushed the floor. Her feet were bare.
