[D2 MM] The Sword Strikes Back

[Alessia]

"Westeros? It's like I remember it," she said, stepping away enough that he had plenty of free space. Laying an arm across her hip.

[Warryn Wydman]

"I assume full of dashing young lords is not how you would describe it." He continued thrusting and parrying.

[Alessia]

"I do not think that is the whole of Westeros, no, but there are a few I have seen," she said, raising a brow as to his intentions for asking it as he did.

[Warryn Wydman]

He smiled. "Aye, seems like you." He stepped forward and back, stabbing backwards. "What do you think of Westeros." He asked curiously.

[Alessia]

"Seems like me?" she asked with a raised brow. Crossing both arms over her chest and looking to him.

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn shrugged. "I don't know you well, but... I get an impression." Helpful answer at the ready!

[Alessia]

"And what impression is that?" she asked, a brow raised with the question that had her most interested.

[Warryn Wydman]

"You're not the usual Westerosi." He said simply. "So I'm not expecting how a usual one would react."

[Alessia]

"You are evading my question, milord, are you afraid of me?" she asked with a sly smirk. Unable to contain her curiosity that was now about what was causing him to leave the words unspoken, whatever they were.

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn sighed. "I don't know how to talk to you." He stated simply. "You won't respond to my usual charming self, you fight well though, and that earns you respect. How do I talk to someone whose skill I admire while not their words?" He provided.

[Alessia]

"If the conversation so far has been your attempt at charm milord, I think your blood has put you in a situation where everyone till now has been lying to you," she spoke with no ill intent, even being sure to punctuate the statement with a small smile.

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn laughed. "Fair enough... I've been put off a bit by your demeanor, I won't lie." He bowed his head towards her. "Apparently I don't do well when it comes to... strange situation." He sighed. "I feel I should pull out the charm in recompense.... would you stab me?" He asked with a sly smile himself.

[Alessia]

Alessia chuckled, holding a hand to her lips to cover it.

"Is that how women usually respond to your charm milord? I do not think that is a very good sign you are doing it right."

[Warryn Wydman]

"A noble lady? Not usually. A women with blades and skills to match? I honestly don't know." He stopped his maneuvers, looking at her. "Only one way to find out I guess?" He stepped closer. "From the lovey lady who holds the key to such mysteries."

Ugh... I need Tal's advice.

[Alessia]

A raised brow, she narrowed her eyes as she looked to him. Trying to figure him out for a moment before saying, eyes met and with a sly smirk, "Are you trying to be charming, or to charm me, milord?"

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn shrugged. "With ladies, I found one to be same. Most of the time." He eased a bit. "See? I'm making a fool of myself already."

[Alessia]

"You're just showing you were a highborn lad, girls saw your name and were either awe'd or frightened," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Keeping her tone light as possible. "It isn't really your fault, just a shame really."

[Warryn Wydman]

"Or they were confused how to pronounce." He let out a small smile. "I'm glad for your understanding of my unfortunate situation, lady of blades."

[Alessia]

"Lady of blades?" she repeated with a raised brow. For a moment she thought on it, the sound of it and ultimately smiled.

"The title I like, your humor could use a touch more," she said, teasing with the smile of hers.

[Warryn Wydman]

"Huh, you do actually smile." He responded first, before shrugging. "My father is not known for his humor, grandfather more like." Not that there was a whole lot to be happy about in Wydman lands.

"How do you plan on making the name then, melady?"

[Alessia]

"Starting with bouts like ours, and continuing until there are none who would disagree," she said frankly, a light smile.

[Warryn Wydman]

"That is going to be a long line of fights, melady." He smirked. "Though I have no doubt you're ready for it."

[Alessia]

"If I find a grander stage or two, then it will be quite a bit easier."

[Warryn Wydman]

"Oh? Hope meet such a stage in Ashford then? The Grand Melee perhaps?" he asked with curiosity.

[Alessia]

"Nothing to be gained from a stage like that, just a few bruises and ruined clothing. I will find my stage, eventually, when I am ready for it."
