It was early, the sun was barely breaking, but Warryn was at the lists. He knew his horse and arms will be ready in time, but there still was an energy in him, so he decided to take a walk around the stands.

"You are here early," Cassana mused. She stopped looking at the weapon racks and then went to address Warryn fully. She gave him a proper curtsy and a wide grin. "Good morning, Ser."

Warryng gave a bow. "Good morning melady." He smiled. "It is difficult to think of anything else but the joust today." His smile turned wistful. "What brings a lovely lady to the lists so early, if I may inquire?"

"When I saw the lists, I was admittedly disappointed by the lack of my champion. However, I am grateful that you, at least, have the opportunity." Cassana gave a mischievous, playful smile. "You could assume that I am here to appraise the competition."

"Thank you melady, I appreciate your kind words and smile." He smiled back. "I hope your mysterious champion gets to ride and joust, I am looking forward to the man you place your faith in."

He looked around the lists, taking a deep breath. "I hope I won't disappoint you or your champion."

Lady Cassana let out a soft sigh. "Lack of confidence is unbecoming of you, Ser. Do not let your doubts cloud your path to victory.

"And who knows? Perhaps you will end up facing him yourself!"

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn let out a laugh. "Thank you Lady. Lack of confidence is not something I am oft accused of... father likes to say I could use it. I'll tell him about it then, hopefully it will make his day."

He stepped slightly closer to her. "Aye... could be interesting. Could I hope perhaps for a cheer from the lovely lady if I'm not facing your champion?"

"You had such swagger yesterday," she admitted with a wry smirk, "If that would also amuse your father."

The noble lady muffled a laugh behind her fingertips. "Perhaps. I would have to conserve my energy to make sure my champion wins, however. I may not be able to be ecstatic for you."

[Warryn Wydman]

"Ecstatic? Well, I'll settle for a poltie clap. For now." His smile widened. "Of course, a Lady needs to make sure to parcel her attention properly, lest she become divided by the army of men seeking her favor." He gave a small flourish.

[Cassana Algood]

She allowed a bigger giggle to escape her. "Very well. I will send more of my celebrations to you, both today and the next day. After all, you will assuredly win both." She blinked and then paused. Her lips turned back to a mischievous, teasing curl. "But then what about the day after?"

"Well, with such confidence in me how can I fail?" He laughed... her giggle was surprising, but not bad.

"Oh? Will you curse me to fail then? Or you expect your Champion to trounce me, melady?"

[Cassana Algood]

"He would not be my Champion if I did not have faith in him, Ser. Though perhaps it would benefit me if you fell off your horse on your own," she said with a slight smirk. "However, there is no honor in tricks, so I would not ask such of you."

Warryn smiled. "I shall try my best than, to not fail without honor." He glanced around. "Anything catch your fancy besides the joust, melady?

She blinked at him and then gave him a coy smile. "What more than this tournament could a woman want, Ser Warryn?"

Warryn let out a small laugh. "I believe my friend Tal would know this one better, but... I could say riches, and men, and love, but perhaps...to see their goals reached?" He said tentatively.

"Riches, men, and love can be goals in themselves, Ser. In a way, 'achieving goals' is a broad and easy way to include anything a human being could want."

She then perked a brow. "Is Ser Talieas a man frequently favored by maidens then? And not yourself?"

[Warryn Wydman]

Warryn let out a small laugh. "Perhaps I am trying not to offend you, Lady Algood." His eyes smiled. A witty woman. "Well, I was married so maiden did not exactly favor me. Besides that, Tal is the more charming out of the two of us."

Lady Cassana kept a blank expression as she asked, "Was married Ser?"

Her expression then turned back to one of more amusement. "But then I should be teaching you instead of him to become more charming, no?"

Warryn's expression turned somber. "She passed." He stated simply. There wasn't much to elaborate.

He laughed. "Well perhaps I should ask for remedial lessons too? Tal's mouth is quicker than his mind sometime, so he does need help I feel... but I wouldn't want to impose on an important ladies' time."
