More of the Same. (Day 2 Early Afternoon)

[Desmond Terrick]

"He says it's the best way for me to learn to lead." he nodded. "I haven't had the time to fish here yet. I was thinking of going down to the stream tomorrow. I wonder if they have different fish here."

[Derrick]

"He's likely right about that." Honestly Derrick didn't have enough experience to say one way or another, but it seemed the best. When the topic turned to fish the young solider shrugged, though it almost earned him a hit. "Can't say I have ever thought about it, or even tried to check. You might ask a Maestar though. Maybe they could tell you?"

[Desmond Terrick]

"I already asked one about the white stag." he said as he followed up with another quick strike. "It might be best just to see for myself."

[Derrick]

"I've been wondering if I would be able to see it." He had heard about it several times now. "Been going out into the woods some to have a luck. Haven't really seen anything out or the ordinary though."

"What did the Maestar say about it?"

[Desmond Terrick]

"That it's just a story." he sighed. "People throughout the kingdoms claim to have seen it, but there's nothing to it."

[Derrick]

Well if people throughout the kingdom have seen it, seems like there probably is one." His lips curled into a slight frown. "People just don't see things that aren't there. At least if they aren't daft."

[Desmond Terrick]

"He said people talk about it to get attention." he shrugged. "But, if it's out thete, we'll find it."

[Derrick]

"Have some people to help you look? Or us it just to be you and Walder?" He asked, dipping his head in the direction of the dog.

[Desmond Terrick]

"There are a couple of others, and their dogs." he explained. "One has another Walder."

[Derrick]

"Is that Miss Gwen you are referring to?" He asked, recalling the young girl he had seen a few days before. "With the other Walder that is."

[Desmond Terrick]

"Yes." he nodded. "We met in the woods yesterday and talked about hunting and the stag.".

[Derrick]

Derrick wasn't sure it was a good idea for a bunch of kids to go hunting the stag, especially when there were apparently a couple princes missing... He'd probably need to make sure they brought some guards or something along. "Well if you want any more company for the hunt let me know, I might like to come along... Just to see if you find it."

[Desmond Terrick]

"I'll ask the others." the boy nodded. "Thank you. And, thank you for the training."

[Derrick]

"Glad I could be of some assistance, Milord." Derrick replied with a easy smile, fairly certain he wouldn't get a invite.

He wouldn't invite an adult to play with him and his friends when he was younger. Not that he honestly did much playing.

[Desmond Terrick]

"Well, if there's anything I can do for you, let me know." he offered.

[Derrick]

"I will, thank you Milord." The solider replied with a polite bow. "I wish you luck on your coming hunt."

[Desmond Terrick]

"Good luck to you, as well." he nodded. "I'm going to find some lunch."

[Derrick]

That brought a smirk to the young soldiers lips. "I should do the same."
