"Me too aye! To new friendships!" With a jolly cheer a good portion of his wine was then knocked back. Tal looked pleased.

Tomas raises his glass and remains quiet.

Warryn smacked his lips. "Tasty, I say." He smiled. "The Dunns are seeking out new friendships then? Looking forward to peace?"

"Whetherr we embrrace peace rreluctantly, orr with open arrms, it rremains the correct courrse," Kaliya hedged, all too aware the Lord Commander himself was one of the greatest obstacles to their goal. I serrve the good of the Burrow, the good of the Rreach, she reassured herself, not just herr Lorrd.

Kaelyn raised her glass as well. She added to the toast carefully. "And to prosperity." She didn't think she'd cause any waves with that. She was taking Kaliya's advice to heart to listen and learn.

Ywain took a sip and nodded appreciatively to Kaelyn. "It seems the natural result of peace and friendship, yes? I am sure both our houses would welcome more than a little more of it."

Tal nods firmly at Ywain's statement. "Aye." Even better than honour and glory was a protected populace that could live and work peacefully.
