(D3 LE) Tell Me Quickly, What's the Story

[Cassana Algood]

"It was their mistake in assuming she was there to arrest Lyonel Baratheon." Cassana let out a sigh. "The situation does not sum up well anyways. I am glad that you performed your duty, Derrick, but I admit I was tempted to order you to stand down."

[Derrick]

He nodded. "I would of done so if you ordered Milady, though I can't say it would of been the wisest choice. At least as far as I could say." It might of angered Lord Ashford after all, or one of the others fightning aganist the Lord of Storm's End.

[Alessia]

"No cup," she said, showing her empty palms. With a shrug, a sigh, she put herself against the wall beside the cell door and slid to the ground. "Anyway, not that it matters now but I wanted to direct Baratheon away from casting his rage down on you. For whatever it's worth. I thought it would be more of a loss for you to die than any of them. Not that I knew the two Vale knights well, but the Dunn made himself known rather quickly with how he acted in the fray. Vale knights waited until they visited me here today to show their true colors."

"Best you were there to subdue him in a way that kept him alive, Derrick, at least with me there you were safe enough," she said with a light laugh.

[Derrick]

"Suppose it's a good thing I brought a few then." Derrick muttered, reaching into a small bag at his side to pull out a few simple wooden cups. He'd fill one for everyone there Cassana included, unless they said otherwise. "Thanks." He replied, his lips curling into a half smile for a moment. "Though I honestly didn't plan on dying today."

"Aye..." He shook his head. "Nice of you to try and get between me and that big axe... I thought Some of the other's would be by my side sooner. Seems I was wrong on that part though." Derrick finished with a light chuckle.

[Alessia]

"No, unfortunately that Dunn decided to cleave a man in half instead," she said, blowing out air at the thought as she accepted the cup Derrick offered. "And the others, the others just like fighting people into submission every and any chance they get. Didn't even offer me a chance to stay my blade until they already forced my sword from my hand."

[Derrick]

"Aye." He replied, taking a sip of his cup of wine. "That Dunn man did seem to be out for blood, if he's that bad at controlling his temper I can understand why he's not a knight yet..." He shook his head. "I'll have to talk to Lord Algood about him... His house doesn't seem the type we should seek any alliances with. That is, if you agree Lady Cassana." Derrick finished glancing towards the noble woman.

"I dunno why they didn't ask you to yield, or at least attempt to disarm you. At that point the battle was already won." Attacking as they were at that point, he at least thought it was a bit shameful. "Maybe I'm just old fashioned or something though."

[Alessia]

"I would suppose I shouldn't be too surprised, those two men seem rather incapable of reading a situation properly," she scoffed. Rolling her head back and leaning it against the wall after a drink. Allowing a moment between Cassana and Derrick as for their family matters.

[Cassana Algood]

"A single member of a House does not represent it in its entirely. I may have to see to meeting another member of House Dunn."

[Derrick]

He shrugged. "Up to you Milady." Was Derricks simple response. "Though I'd say a lot depends on which member the house it is. A knight, or third son is one thing. The Lord or his Heir another."

[Alessia]

"Which one of those was the Dunn boy from before?" she asked, Alessia interest painted her tone. Leaning forward from her seat she looked to Derrick.

[Derrick]

A frown crossed Derricks features, it almost seemed to be his favorite expression
"Honestly I can't say for certain, I've never met the man myself. See Corbray referred to him as Lord Kevan though."

[Cassana Algood]

"I honestly could not say." She gave a faint sigh. "I am simply suggesting that we do not rule out a House completely. To alienate others based on one action would leave our House without any allies at all."

[Derrick]

"You know more of these things then I Lady Cassana." Was the Man-at-arms simple response. "I'm just a solider after all, not a politician."

He took a drink from his glass. "Oh, it's likely not too important... It seems there is some speculation that the Lord Baretheon might have been drugged, or something like that. Thought you should know, Milady."
