Getting schooled (Day 2 ME Cassana's tent)

"I can imagine so. Why else would you become a knight?" She let out a whimsical sigh. "To be so gallant and regal. Who could not aspire to be so?"

"Right? That's how it should be. I can sense you feel the same haha." He taps his chest firmly and spreads his legs a little wider, still all smiles. "If you'd ever like to try anything do let me know and I'll be happy to show you the ropes or answer questions. It's the least I can do in return for this evening."

Cassana perked a brow. "You mean about knighthood? I believe I know enough to be proper for a lady."

Crossing his arms he makes a curious expression. "What is proper for a lady differs here compared to the North and the Vale." He gives a shrug and lets it be if that is her preference.

"Is that Vale well known for allowing women to learn about being a knight? I certainly have not heard of such." She gave him a warm smile, one of excited curiosity.

Rubbing his chin he looked up as he thought about it. "I'd not say it's common, but at least a degree of self defense is more common in the Vale and the North than it is in the South. The Iron Islands, Hillmen, Wildlings and bandits are all problematic... well, to varying degrees for each of us of course. No wildlings in the Vale eh?" Lowering his gaze and regarding her again he smiles a little. "I have met a Lady knight once, and it was in the Vale. Mostly it's noble women with some knowledge of the bow and hunting, perhaps warfare if they're forced to lead a house in some capacity, or some martial skill for personal defence. I, err... I understand that might be frowned upon by some, but we can't all be the same eh?"
