Up and at them (Day 4 EM)

Wearing just a breastplate over some mail and cloth, Tal circled his opponent. His shield and sword had each seen some action so far, but there was a lull in the back and forth. As usual he filled it with some chatter.

"So, you mentioned three ladies yesterday. Do you wish to share how things go with each? You'll have my support of course."

"Tal, there is more to life than women, you know." Warryn held his left arm at an odd angle, but his right held his sword. "Tell me, how are things for you my friend?"

"Deflecting before I even strike? Tsk." Tal teased, stepping left and right. "How are things in general? Oh, good, except that I'm useless here beyond capturing a drunken Lord. Not even one word of thanks for that from anyone important. Already forgotten about. Bah!" Warryn had hit a nerve.

Warryn frowned. "Come now Tal. You're not useless. Your help means a lot, you're better at making friends than me." Poor guy. "Hopefully you can get on a horse soon enough. Besides, you managed to subdue him quite nicely, congratulations on that." He stretched and raised his weapons.

Tal wasn't too sure about all of that, but he smiled all the same. "Let's make this more even. Your shoulder is still playing up from that bee lord eh?" He sets his shield down then gives his sword a twirl.
